About the project

Functionality was key in the development of this project. We developed a series of in-depth forms used by exhibitors to book their vehicles/groups/stalls into the show. On average the website handles over 300 applications a year.

The second functionality is ecommerce. We populated the online store with a range of tickets that the visiting public can buy on the run to the show. All transactions are processed, and payment taken through the added payment gateway.

Other pages we added were FAQ to reduce the number of enquires, automated the Facebook messenger app to reduce the workload of the organisers and added visitor information as to what was on at the event.

In addition, we have designed the show programs, generated social media content, and handled all aspects of marketing for the last three years.

We used a military green palette and bold titles to draw visitors’ attention to the relevant content they are looking at. Fully optimised for mobile, we used a video as the header to portray the exciting vehicle displays and explosions.

Dave and the team have developed a fantastic events website for us. Over the last 2 years our online ticket sales have almost tripled and we have been receiving a lot of positive feed back from visitors. We highly recommend Surrey Web Designs.
